Highschool and middle school students from Junction City, Harrisburg, Elmira, Monroe, and Triangle Lake are invited to enter our yearly art contest and show! Homeschool students from these districts are welcome!
Paint Parties are a blast!
We host a paint party at the JC Community Center on the first Friday of every month. At one of our paint parties in June, Jeanne Simpson taught how to paint this lovely landscape with acrylics. Look at the variety of everyone's work! Everyone had a great time and went home with a new piece to frame and hang up at home or give as a gift. Come join us for our next First Friday Paint party!
Here is a photo from our first paint party in 2021. Long-time JCAA member Jeanne Simpson lead of lovely group of ladies in painting a seascape with acrylic paints. Everyone went home with their own completed painting in less than three hours!

About the JCAA
The JCAA is a group of artists with a passion for creating meaningful artwork and inspiring our community. At our monthly meetings, we encourage each other as artists and learn from one another as well as from guest presenters. We also put together group art shows for local events and host a yearly art contest for local schools.
